1. Who we are
TechaNewz ("the Service") is operated by Aryan Singh, an individual based in Gurugram, India ("we", "our", "us"). The Service consists of the TechaNewz mobile app and website. Contact us at support@dimssu.com.
2. Acceptance of these Terms
By installing, accessing, or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. By using the Service you represent that you meet this age requirement and that nothing in your local law prevents you from agreeing to these Terms.
4. Your account
You can use the Service either as a guest (no account required) or by signing in with Google or an email and password. If you create an account you are responsible for:
- Keeping your credentials confidential
- All activity that occurs under your account
- Notifying us promptly at support@dimssu.com if you suspect unauthorized access
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Scrape, harvest, or otherwise extract data from the Service in bulk or by automated means
- Attempt to access another user's account or data
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or interfere with the Service's code or infrastructure
- Use the Service to break any applicable law, including infringing intellectual property rights
- Disrupt the Service by overloading our infrastructure, sending malformed requests, or evading our rate limits
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation
We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you have violated this section.
6. News content and intellectual property
TechaNewz surfaces summaries of and links to news articles published by third parties (such as TechCrunch, Ars Technica, and other tech publishers). The underlying articles and their copyrights remain owned by their respective publishers. We do not claim ownership of third-party content.
The TechaNewz name, logo, app design, and code are owned by us. You may not copy or reuse them without written permission.
7. The Service is provided "as is"
We work hard to keep TechaNewz running, but we cannot guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure against every threat, or that every news item will be accurate. The Service and all content are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability to you for any claim related to the Service will not exceed ₹1,000 (or its equivalent in your local currency).
9. Changes to the Service
We may add, change, or remove features at any time. We may also discontinue the Service in whole or in part, in which case we will give reasonable notice through the app or by email where possible.
10. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. To delete your account, email us at support@dimssu.com. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or use the Service in a way that risks harm to other users or to us.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the app or by email at least 7 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
12. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Gurugram, Haryana, India.
